136. It's Time To Level Up Your Home Service Business: Three Upcoming Industry Events That You Cannot Miss ✨

HI, FRIEND. If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s this: you cannot grow a business in isolation.

Community, education, perspective, and connection are what take you from “figuring it out as you go” to confidently leading a real business. In this episode of Hustled Up, we talked all about three upcoming industry events that can genuinely change the trajectory of your home service or cleaning business — whether you prefer learning from your couch or thriving in a room full of people who get it.

The best part? One is in-person and two are virtual, so there’s something accessible for everyone, no matter your season of business.

Jobber Summit [Virtual + Free]

  • Date: March 4, 2026

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM OR 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Cost: Free

  • Format: 100% virtual

👉 Link to register: go.getjobber.com/holly-summit

Jobber Summit is hands-down one of our favorite virtual events of the year. It’s designed specifically for home service business owners, not just cleaners — which means the lessons translate across industries like lawn care, moving, HVAC, and more.

What we love most is how intentional it is. You’re not just sitting and listening all day — you can join roundtable discussions, choose sessions based on what’s currently painful in your business, and connect with other owners in real time.

Another huge bonus? You do not need to use Jobber to attend. Whether you’re CRM-curious or fully committed to another platform, the education alone makes this event worth your time.

If you’re short on time, on budget, or want something your whole team can attend together, this is a no-brainer.

CleanCon [In-Person + First-Ever Event]

Location: The Conrad Indianapolis

Dates: March 16–18

Cost: $499 until February 15, $549 at the door

👉 Event details & tickets: https://www.mycleancon.com/

CleanCon is especially exciting because this is the very first year it’s being held — and it’s built specifically for the cleaning industry.

This is a true in-person experience, with industry-leading speakers who’ve built what you’re building, systems-focused education to help you scale, meaningful networking, and (yes) a whole lot of fun. From roundtables to panels to hallway conversations, this is the kind of event where real relationships are formed.

While we’re sitting this one out [for now], we have so many friends attending, and we know it’s going to be powerful. In-person events require a bigger investment — tickets, travel, lodging — but if it’s within your means, the ROI often goes far beyond what you can measure financially. Take it from us, friend — there is truly nothing like being in the room.

CBF Live [Virtual + Open to Everyone]

Dates: April 9 & 10th, 2026

Format: Virtual (first year online)

CBF Live holds a very special place in our hearts because it was the very first industry event we ever attended — and it completely changed our business.

This year marks the first time CBF Live is going virtual, making it more accessible than ever. And one important thing to know: you do not have to be a CBF member to attend. This event is open to anyone in the residential cleaning industry and is an incredible way to learn more about CBF, its coaching style, and its community.

CBF Live is known for powerful sessions led by experienced coaches, strong keynote talks, and education that goes deeper than surface-level tips. Even without all the details yet, we know from experience that this event is worth putting on your radar.

If you’re curious about coaching, systems, or leveling up as a business owner, this is one to watch. And not to worry — we'll keep you updated as we find out more!

How Events Have Changed Our Business

We can honestly say that attending industry events changed everything for us. Yes, the speakers matter. Yes, the sessions are helpful. But the real magic often happens outside the conference room — in the hallway conversations, the late-night talks, the shared struggles, and the “wait… how do you handle that?” moments.

We’ve:

  • Solved major bottlenecks

  • Gained lifelong friendships

  • Learned systems we still use today

  • Found clarity during seasons of burnout and overwhelm

These events reminded us that we’re not alone — and that on its own can be transformational.

A Quick Reality Check: You Can’t Implement Everything

Here’s the part we really want to emphasize. Every single time we come home from an event — virtual or in-person — we feel:

  • Fired up

  • Inspired

  • Motivated

  • … and a little overwhelmed

It’s information overload, and it’s completely normal.

The biggest mistake you can make is trying to implement everything all at once. That’s how you overwhelm yourself and your team. Our advice?

  • Take intentional notes

  • Cherry-pick one or two things to implement

  • Align changes with your current goals

  • Give yourself (and your team) time

Momentum comes from focus — not chaos.

Final Thoughts

Whether you choose a free virtual summit, a first-ever in-person conference, or a long-standing industry event that’s gone virtual, the important thing is this:

👉 Get involved. Show up. Stay connected.

These events exist to support you, educate you, challenge you, and remind you why you started in the first place. And if you’ve been making excuses — trust us, we’ve been there — that’s often the biggest sign you need the event most.

If you’re attending any of these, let us know!! And if you want a follow-up post on how to prepare for your first industry event, we’d love to share everything we wish we had known. We’ll see you there! 💖
